Calder features a moon-inspired silhouette made from resin and natural fibre, its rounded form and subtle surface pattern creating a calm, atmospheric glow rather than a bright, direct light source. It works well as a soft secondary light in a room that already has task lighting elsewhere.
The shade's textured, fibre-blended surface adds gentle visual interest even when the light is off, and the adjustable suspension cable, which extends or shortens by up to 150cm (59"), allows it to be hung at different heights across bedrooms, living rooms or dining spaces. Calder takes a standard E27 bulb, runs on a 110-240V, 230V plug-in AC power source, and is built to CCC, CE, RoHS, CQC, FCC and GS certification standards. It's rated to light an area of roughly 10-15 square metres, and is available in seven sizes with a choice of warm white or cold white light output, giving plenty of room to pick a scale and tone that suits the space above a bed, sofa or dining table.
